About the Author

I was born in 1993 in the leafy surrounds of Shropshire, a county not dissimilar to the rural heartlands of Arca in Worldheart, or the kingdom of Hauterre in Ashes of Eden.

Brought up on a steady diet of books, films, and video games, including Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, and Discworld, I developed a lifelong love for the magic of fantasy and the joy of building vibrant, engaging worlds.

In 2012, I headed to the University of Liverpool, where I completed three degrees - BA English Literature & Communication Studies, MSc Entrepreneurship, and MRes Management. I met my fiancée during my second year of study. We recently moved back to Shropshire after nine happy years in Merseyside, and are excited to tie the knot in 2025!
